Brown Sugar Glazed Halibut

I personally believe the best choice Mac ever made was asking me to marry him…
This is an
Anna original… Tonight I am just flowing with creativity,  and in avoiding the cleaning and packing of the apartment I turned to creating my own nummyness.  Rocking out to LMFAO I came up with this creation for dinner.
Now bear with me as I tend to not use measurements and go more by what feels right, and slightly out there in bazzarness.

In small pot add:

  • 1/2 cup (about) Brown Sugar.
  •  1/2 cup Butter.
  •  Shake or two of Nutmeg.
  • Shake of Dill.
  • Shake of Paprika.
  • Two cloves of Ginger.

This will sound strange but…

  • About 1/4 cup Lemonade mix.
  • Champagne Salad dressing (or whatever you have on hand)

Not a lot but enough to add flavor.
Put on med-low heat and slowly bring to a boil after this is done pour over your fish (I used 3 fillets of Halibut)

  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350* until it’s nice and falling apart. For me about 20 minutes.

This turned out better than I imagined.
Tonight I’m serving it with sweet baked potato and fresh salad.
Enjoy!

Intermingling

We  all cross paths and destinations,
Taking us somewhere moving us forward.
Intermingling…
Do we ever stop and watch the people around us,
We all get so focused on ourselves and our own
Individual paths that we stop to care for those around us.
I wonder where they have been in life,
Where they are going.
How they are getting there.
How they have gotten so far.
What they have done with themselves.
What is going on in their lives.
Making them react the way they do.
Making them who they are.
What impact and affect do I have on them?
And others that they will interact with…
We’re all on a huge freeway, the freeway of life,
And just like the freeway what we do affects others.
Causing accidents, cutting people off, making life easier.
What kind of effect do we have on others,
And the path that their taking?
