For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. ~ Audrey Hepburn
Now I wouldn’t say that’s the healthiest way to be skinny, I would go so far as to say it’s terrible, if all you’re trying for is the thin factor.
For past experience cutting food out is an all around bad idea.
I think what she was trying to get across while being all ‘Glam’ was, well. I’m not entirely sure. Besides the fact that we shouldn’t turn a blind eye to whats going on around us. Something I’ve noticed, we’re all talk and hardly action, making us lazier with every chance passed up. Sometimes if we (and yes I specially mean myself) would get up and help. Starting with the ones around us, than branching out to the rest of the world around us. Hey that may help your ‘thin’ issue. Getting off your/my ass and doing something to make a change (and no that’s not just for tip jars, and the laundry mat).
We all have more than we need (you can go so far as to say we’re on the greedy side of things), if we were to start giving what we didn’t need to others it could help us start making a difference.
It’s not that we grow into our greed, it begins the toys are ‘mine’ at a young age, then our toys start getting bigger, and better, more spendy, and extravagant.
I know, I should get off my soapbox, and start doing what I preach, and yes I understand full well once in the lazy-loop it makes starting the helping and sharing a lot more difficult than one would think.
